This sixth part of the 2006 challenge was for sure the most difficult and demanding due to the altitude of 3.247 m reached. The participants left from Naturno, a popular holiday resort about 12 km from Merano. 15 km of uphill road to reach the Malga di Naturno and the descent to Val d’Ultimo. From here the teams had to manage a very steep and difficult uphill ride (some of it pushing the bike) to Passo di Rabbi. Once having arrived to the top a beautiful descent to Val di Rabbi and Malè.
