The Adamello Brenta Nature Park is the largest protected area of Trentino and in the entire Alps: it covers an area of 620,51 km² including the Adamello and Brenta mountain groups separated by Val Rendena and located between Val di Non, Val di Sole and Valli Giudicarie. It spans from a height of 477 m all the way up to 3558 m of the Cima Presanella peak including numerous lakes and the Adamello glacier, one of the most extensive glaciers in all of Europe. Its territory is characterized by a wide variety of remarkable landscapes and precious natural resources, especially its flora and wildlife including the brown bear.
