This tract has optimal characteristics: a wide natural riverbed, high flow rate, deep holes, strong current, large rocks. FROM FUCINE TO MALÈ from the confluence with the Vermigliana stream to the confluence with the Rabbiés stream. This tract has good characteristics: a wide almost all-natural riverbed, high flow rate, deep holes, strong current, large rocks. Populated by wild, naturally growing fish: marble trout, brown trout and hybrids of the two species.

VERMIGLIO This aquatic environment, sometimes subject to devastating floods, is characterised by fast-flowing streams. Given its abundant flow, the Vermigliana sometimes has artificial riverbed management features with long embankments while the remaining sections have a natural riverbed. The fish population is almost entirely brown trout, both natural-growth and from ready-to-fish stock input; the brook trout is sometimes present and will find suitable spawning grounds in tributaries. The fishing area starts at the confluence with the Torrente Noce in Ossana (950 m a.s.l.) and ends, 10 km further upstream, above the Campo Gara in Velon. The best lure fishing months are generally March, April, May, June and September, while natural baits give the best results in the warmer months even though glacier meltwaters can cloud the stream. The stream is easily accessible from various points.

DIMARO An intact riverbed, medium-high flow, a wild wooded environment and nearly-always clear waters make this stream prized for its fishing and stunning landscape. The population consists almost entirely of brown trout.

RABBI Many consider the Rabbies to be one of the best streams in Trentino. Natural riverbed, green banks, clear waters, steady flows: an environment ideal for marble and brown trout. The section of stream near San Bernardo and Pracorno is a no-kill zone for fly/fly line fishing while some tracts, instead, are no fishing areas.

This large artificial reservoir, located 1.800 m is populated by both native trout and adult trout that are stocked into the lake: brown trout, rainbow trout, brook trout. A 15 minute walk from the Fontanin area located near the town of Peio Fonti will take you right to the lake. Fishing is banned in the areas opposite the dam and there are signs that clearly indicate these areas.

A glacial lake at a height of 1.900 populated by native Arctic char. An enchanting lake thanks to its crystal clear waters and the forests that surround it, which can be reached with a 2 hour and a half walk from the location called Volpaia in Vermiglio.

Near the Denza mountain hut that also has the same name, this lake, of glacial origin, is located at the foot of the Presanella at a height of 2.340 m a.s.l.
Populated by extremely leery Arctic Char.

Shallow clear water. The lake can be easily reached by car from the town of Pellizzano.

Two glacial lakes at a height of 2.000 m, inhabited by brown trout. Starting from Marilleva 1400, a 1 hour and a half walk will take you up to these two lovely mountain lakes.

A solitary yet lovely lake located at 2.450 m a.s.l., a 40 minute walk from the Malga Bronzolo alpine dairy.
It’s a very deep lake with emerald green waters, populated by brown trout and Arctic char.

A beautiful lake at a height of 1.890 m a.s.l. surrounded by the Brenta Dolomites, a 1 hour walk from the road in Campo Carlo Magno. Fishing is allowed only with artificial bait and only in certain areas of the lake (see info charts on site), and it is populated with native brown trout.
Soprasasso, Rotondo, Quarto and Saleci lakes - the entire lake surface
A glacial lake at 2.240 m populated by Arctic char. The lake can be reached with a 3 hour walk with about 1200 m of elevation difference from the Valorz picnic area will take you up to the lake. A bivouac with a fireplace, which is always open, is located at the lake.
The RNK1 is located on the Rabbies Stream and is made up of 2separate section, as shown on the map. 2.5 km total. The lower section was closed to fishing from 1986 to 2015. Clear waters all year. Water holes and small cascades in a natural alpine setting of rare beauty.
The RNK2 is located on the Meledrio stream in Dimaro. From the Madonnina bridge to the electrical plant, lenght 1,6 km. Clear water all year and a clear river bottom. Brown Trout up to 1,5 kg. In September, as trout move upstream along the Noce River, good sized Marble and Brown Trout can be found here.
In zones RNK1 and RNK2 access is permitted for up 2 fishermen per day (no-kill technique with fly line and tenkara rod, 2 barbless hook and landing net), after obligatory booking (online or by phone at +39 328 4566771 - tue-sat from 9 am to 12 am). Cost per day for the permit: 38,00 € at «Le Marinolde» and 30,00 € at «La Calcara». Whoever fishes in this area can fish on the same day in any other waters (except RT zone and Magic Lake) where similar no-kill practices are permitted. From the hydroelectric power station intake in Poia to the Fucine di Ossana bridge - 1.9 km. Fly fishing and no-landing zone. The zone can be accessed by purchasing a daily permit at a cost of €20 (or a 2 or 5-day permit).
Only fly rod with fly line, «alla valesiana» or tenkara techniques permitted, maximum 2 single hooks without barb, dry flies or nymphs, no landing. Persons fishing in this zone can fish on the same day in other waters (except RT reserves), maintaining the same methods. Further details in the regulations provided with the permit.

Use of artificial fly and spinning baits with 1 single barbless hook, silicone and paste baits not allowed (onlyhard bait). Possibility of fishing 2 areas with the same day permit and also in all other waters (excluding no-kill areas) with the same start mode. You can keep one fish size > 50 cm and then stop fishing immediately. Exit ticket must be inserted into the boxes located in the areas. Check out the regulations printed on the permit.
1.2 km in a signed area on the Torrente Vermigliana, in the tract that runs close to the Laghetti di Vermiglio. The Associazione Pescatori Solandri ensures a constant stock of brown trout up to 3 kg. Permission to catch and keep two trout can only be obtained from the bar in Laghetti (100 m from the reserve) at a fee of € 30.00 + € 5.00 deposit for the permit. All techniques with natural bait and lures are permitted, single hook, no barb. Further information on the specific permit. Open from 19 June to 30 September 2020.
