WHAT TO EXPECT /ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
You will spend the morning like a real explorer. We will head off at dawn and walk in silence along the trails in the woods of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, hoping to catch a glimpse of an animal as it gets ready to tackle the day or the signs the animals leave behind. Along the path, a Park Expert will involve you in an environmental monitoring activity and you will learn about hidden and intriguing forms of life.
The path winds its way through a portion of Val di Sole’s Sentiero dei Pastori (“Shepherds’ Trail”).
Meeting point at the Campo Carlo Magno cross country skiing centre.
WHO ARE WE
The Adamello Brenta Nature Park is one of the largest protected nature areas in Trentino and through the many activities that we organize we also want visitors to get to know the natural beauty of our territory.
The Park’s experts will accompany you on this wonderful adventure, as they pass on their enthusiasm and passion for the mountains.
WHAT WE SUPPY
We will provide a spotting scope with 60x magnification to view across great distances, binoculars, and material to jot down animal trail information, to help you better understand your surroundings.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Suitable for hikers with a good fitness level. Minimum age 12 years
The difference in height is approximately 300 metres and we will encounter different types of terrain: forest dirt roads as well as more challenging trails in the woods, across boardwalks, meadows and soft pine needle carpets.
We recommend wearing hiking shoes, waterproof jacket, mountain clothing, hat and small hiking backpack for the hike.
Meeting point at the car park of the Campo Carlo Magno Cross Country Skiing Centre. From there, we will follow the Park expert in our own vehicles along a dirt road until we reach the Piana delle Malghette.
The location can be reached by car along the SS 239 between Folgarida and Madonna di Campiglio.
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER
In case of anticipated inclement weather, the activity will be cancelled the day before and the price will be refunded.
