WHAT TO EXPECT/ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Dawn in the mountains is truly an unforgettable experience. Engage all your senses: you’ll see the colours of dawn, listen to the sounds of the forest as it awakens, feel the cool mountain breeze on your skin, smell the fresh scent of soil, taste delicious local recipes prepared with products from our land.
An exciting way to immerse yourself into the enchanting surroundings of the Val di Pejo valley and the beauty of the Stelvio National Park.
Your walk through the Stelvio National Park will first take you to the Rifugio Scoiattolo mountain hut, then the waterfall and the charming Lago di Covel lake.
A journey among the authentic flavours of Val di Sole: a mouthwatering breakfast made with quality local products, prepared just for you.
WHO ARE WE
We are the Mid-Mountain Guides (Accompagnatori di Media Montagna), accredited by the Trento Mountain Guides.
We enjoy sharing our passion and knowledge with others through interesting facts, stories and legends on our mountains.
WHAT WE SUPPY
Breakfast at the Rifugio Scoiattolo: a tasty experience at a height of 2000 m, with an amazing view of the Brenta Dolomites all the way to the Adamella Presanella.
Uncover loads of stories, facts and legends from Val di Pejo.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Adults and children age 6+ can participate in this activity. This is not a stroller or wheelchair accessible activity.
Moderate/easy excursion. A moderate level of physical preparedness is required, there is an approximate 400 m elevation gain.
Forest roads and well-kept trails within the Stelvio National Park, no exposed sections.
We recommend that you wear suitable clothing because it can be a bit cold in the morning (bring a full-sleeve sweater with you).
Wear your hiking shoes and take a waterproof jacket with you in your backpack. Always take your face mask with you, that you’ll need to wear during the various breaks that we will take during our walk.
The meeting point is at the steeple of the Saints Giorgio and Lazzaro Church in the town of Peio Paese.
IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER
The activity will take place even if there is a light rainfall. If the activity is cancelled, guides will notify all participants the evening before the activity.
COVID-19 SAFETY REGULATIONS
We want you to have fun and stay safe. This is exactly why we are totally committed to complying with all Covid-19 safety regulations issued by the Autonomous Province of Trento, updated by the Prevention Department of the Provincial Health Services.
In practical terms:
- that you arrive at the meeting point with your face mask, single use gloves and hand sanitizer gel;
- max 10 people in a group (including the guide);
- always carefully listen to your guide and follow all instructions. Avoid sharing any equipment or products with other participants;
before your outing you will be asked to fill out a privacy act form and a self-certification form concerning any possible flu symptoms or contact with any positive Covid-19 cases in the past 14 days prior to the activity.
