Pleasant and peaceful walk in the woods surrounding Marilleva 1400, until you reach the shrine of the Madonnina delle Cime.
Simple route suitable for everyone and stroller accessible starting from Marilleva 1400 that leads to the distinctive shrine of the Madonnina delle Cime. The route passes through a lush fir forest, where you can enjoy a break from the summer heat in the shade of the decades-old fir trees populating these woods until you reach the shrine built from wood and other natural materials.
Rules for mountain walks:
Once you pass the Church of the Transfiguration located at Marilleva 1400, walk about 150 m and then take the path on the left of the hairpin bend. After crossing the Ponte Basso (1441 m) over the Rio Lores, you enter a lush fir forest until you reach the shrine of the Madonnina delle Cime. Along the walk, you can take a break to listen to the silence of the forest and connect with nature, thanks to the various benches and fixed tables placed along the route. You can then return to Marilleva 1400 by following the same route in reverse. Alternatively, the return route can be done by reaching the Ponte Alto locality, at the intersection with the trail leading to the Malghet Lakes. Then continue downhill towards Residence Artuik to reach the starting point.
You can reach Marilleva 1400 by Trentino Trasporti bus line MALE' - MEZZANA - MARILLEVA 1400 (download the departure and return timetables).
Follow the SS42 to Mezzana. At the roundabout, take the second exit and drive the uphill hairpin bends that will take you to Marilleva 1400.
Along the road to Marilleva 1400 there are some parking lots.
To face this walk, we recommend wearing hiking boots and a hat and bringing a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, and a water bottle in your backpack.
