Then you cross the pretty hamlet of Ortisè, a typical mountain village with characteristic larch wood houses. Once you reach the lovely church of San Cristoforo, take the road towards Malga Stabli, initially paved and then a dirt road with compact surface and a steady moderate slope. Between pedaling, observe the meadows and pastures surrounding you as well as the dense larch forests that will give you relief during hot summer days and reach Malga Stabli. Here you can enjoy a short break to admire the spectacular view that opens before you: from the majestic Brenta Dolomites to the Presanella. For a tasty lunch, the hut offers a menu with dishes made with typical local products or if you prefer a quick stop, don’t miss the delicious sweets.
Continuing along the dirt road, still with a slight slope, you then reach Malga Bronzolo, the highest point of the itinerary (altitude 2,100 m a.s.l.), from which you enjoy a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains of the Val di Sole. Here you can relax near the wide pastures surrounding the hut and observe the cows, goats, and other animals during the grazing period. The itinerary ends retracing the outward path (it is recommended to pay attention when descending to the possible presence of vehicles on the road).
Thanks to the presence of larch forests along the entire itinerary, this path is perfect for autumn when the forest becomes a true palette of colors.
