For snow hiking activities, follow these guidelines:
Starting from Peio Paese, take the forest road leading towards Malga Talé. Arriving at the Croce dei Bagni (usually without using snowshoes), continue uphill to the Masi di Marassina, from where the path starts that leads to Malga Talé.
The return is along the comfortable forest road, usually snow-covered, to Croce dei Bagni and then back to the settlement along the first section of the outbound route.
You can reach Peio Paese by the Trentino Trasporti bus line MALÈ - MEZZANA - FUCINE - COGOLO- PEIO (download the timetables for the outbound and return trips).
Take the SS42 up to the junction for Val di Peio (on your right if coming from Malé). Turn and enter SP87 and continue for about ten kilometers to Peio Paese following the signs for the Fire Brigade Station; in front of it, you will find a large parking area.
