A walk of about an hour through larch woods leading to Malga Campo "NestAlp".
By car up to the parking in loc. S. Antonio, above the village of Celentino (4 km of dirt road). Then continue on foot for a further approx. 1.5 km of dirt road or via a path that reconnects to the SAT path 132.
Malga Campo is located in Val di Peio, on a natural panoramic terrace from which the view stretches over the Dolomites of Brenta, the Presanella, and the Cevedale group.
Rules for mountain walks:
Reach by car the parking lot in loc. S. Antonio, above the village of Celentino (4 km of dirt road). From here continue on foot for a further approx. 1.5 km of dirt road or via a trail that reconnects to the SAT path 132 until you reach Malga Campo, immersed in the Stelvio National Park, at 1,979 meters of altitude. The malga is an authentic and genuine place where you can try some of the dairy products made by them, such as the good malga butter.
You can reach the Val di Sole by the TRENTO-MALEÌ-MEZZANA train (download the departure and return timetables) up to Mezzana. From here, you can reach Celentino by the line bus MALÈ - MEZZANA - FUCINE - COGOLO - PEIO (download the departure and return timetables).
Drive along the SS42, at the junction for Val di Peio, turn right and follow the SP87 towards Val di Peio - Celentino.
