Walk in the lower Val di Sole that will lead you to Malga Mas de la Cros where in the background you can admire the majestic peak of Cimon de Bolentina.
Medium difficulty circular route that reaches, along a comfortable forest road, the Malga di Bolentina Bassa (Mas de la Cros). Here the cheesemakers transform the milk from their cows into excellent cheeses that you can buy directly at the malga.
Rules for mountain walks:
From the small and characteristic village of Bolentina, in the lower Val di Sole, just above the town of Malé, follow the signs for the locality Mas de Mez. Once you reach the locality, continuing for about 500 meters on a comfortable dirt road, you reach the parking lot from which the walk starts. From here, follow the forest road that leads you to the malga, which you will reach in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. For the descent, if you want to make a circular route, you can follow the SAT 119B path returning to the parking lot. Alternatively, take the same forest road back to the starting point.
You can reach the village of Bolentina by the MALÈ - BOLENTINA bus line (download the departure and return timetables).
Take the SS42 up to Terzolas and then take the right exit into Via Nazionale towards the town center. At the roundabout, continue straight towards Malé and after crossing the bridge over the Rabbies stream, keep going along Via Trento and then turn left towards Bolentina.
You can leave your car in the locality Mas de Mez above the village of Bolentina.
To face this walk we recommend wearing hiking boots and a hat and carrying a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, and a water bottle in your backpack.
