A peaceful walk through dense conifer woods that reaches a natural panoramic terrace offering a spectacular view over the entire Val di Sole.
A moderately difficult route suitable for everyone that, starting from Marilleva 1400, crosses the dense conifer woods until reaching Malghetto di Almazzago, a characteristic mountain building with a view over Val di Sole that you will fall in love with.
Rules for mountain walks:
Starting from the second hairpin bend of the road descending towards Marilleva 1400, you cross a small valley until you reach a dirt road, first narrow for 300 meters and then widening, which you follow until you meet a provincial road. After carefully crossing the road, you take the path to Malghetto di Almazzago. Upon reaching the Daolasa-Val Mastellina cable car and the Malghetto di Mastellina located nearby at an altitude of 1384 meters, you continue on into the dense conifer woods and the silence reigning among the branches until you reach Malghetto di Almazzago. Here you can take a break to admire Val di Sole from a new perspective. For the return, follow the route in reverse.
You can reach this spectacular natural panoramic terrace starting from Malghetto di Mestriago, which is reached from the road to Marilleva 1400, then following the same route to Malghetto di Almazzago.
You can reach Marilleva 1400 by the MALE'-MEZZANA-MARILLEVA 1400 line of Trentino Trasporti (download the outbound and return schedules).
