Easy walk that takes place in the small hamlets of the Municipality of Commezzadura among sunny meadows and breathtaking panoramic points.
From the village of Piano, follow the path that reaches the upper part of the village of Mestriago, then crosses the green meadows and the small bridge over the stream up to the locality of Novaia, where you can enjoy a splendid view over the entire Valley. Continue along the dirt road until you reach the path that, after crossing sunny meadows, leads back to the village of Mastellina.
Rules for mountain walks:
Starting from the Piano parking lot, go uphill on Via del Capitel until you take Via dei Coai on the right, which leads to the junction where the trail to Deggiano begins. The trail continues at altitude until reaching the upper part of the village of Mestriago, then crosses the meadows and passes over the small bridge. Taking the path that leads to loc. Novaia, a particularly panoramic spot, continue along the dirt road until you reach the path that, on the left, rises to Deggiano. Below the church, the path starts that, crossing the sunny meadows, leads back to the village of Mastellina. From there, return to Piano by walking on the pedestrian sidewalk beside the state road.
Alternatively, once you reach the village of Mestriago, you can climb to the locality of Novaia and return to the village of Mastellina, venturing into the brand new treasure hunt "The Magical World of Aulasa". The route begins at the Mestriago information office, where you can pick up a booklet explaining the princess's story and all the necessary instructions to complete the treasure hunt.
To tackle this walk, we recommend wearing ankle boots and a hat and carrying a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, and a water bottle in your backpack.
