CROSS COUNTRY SKIING TRACK IN OSSANA

The Ossana cross country trail winds along a route going through Ossana and Pellizzano. This is an easy route for all skiers, both experienced and beginners. The landscape is varied: after the sunniest initial stretch, of the trail continues through the wood for about 600 metres and then returns «in the open sky», with an opportunity to enjoy the magnificent landscape of Val di Sole and luckily e, the view of deer and roe-deer coming downhill looking for food during the winter season. The trail is home to important cross country races every year, such as the Italian Nordic combined Cup as well as several juvenile competitions.
