Four Villas in Bloom

A running race among the blossoming apple trees

A foot race where you can immerse yourself in the colors, scents, and history of the Val di Non. One of the most beloved events to celebrate the arrival of spring, open to everyone, athletes and non-athletes, families, and children!

Celebrate the arrival of spring among the blossoming apple orchards of the Val di Non, breathtaking panoramas, and romantic castles. Not just a march dedicated to competitive athletes, but an event open to all who want to kick off the beautiful season with a day spent entirely outdoors.

The "Quattro Ville in Fiore" (Four Villas in Bloom) is a foot race where you can immerse yourself in the colors, scents, and history of the Val di Non. Before leaving the villa of Campo, we encounter the recently restored church of S. Lucia, and then onwards to Nanno along small streets and alleys, surrounded by a curtain of fragrant blossoming apple trees. Then, suddenly, after a steep ascent, there appears the mighty Castel Nanno: an ancient stronghold with a menacing watchtower whose sight accompanies us for a long time. Then we run towards the village of Pavillo with its precious rectory with a porch and loggias and a Romanesque turret and its church dedicated to San Paolo. Turning again to the south, we reach Sanzenone with its suggestive church of the Immaculate and then, immersed in blooming apple orchards, Castel Valer reappears, a splendid fortress dominating with its high octagonal tower the villa of Tassullo. Then the square of Tassullo opens up with Palazzo Pilati and the 12th-century parish church dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta. We are almost there now, but we cannot miss the visit to the 15th-century church of San Vigilio, rich in history and precious frescoes.
