ALPINE WELLNESS IN A NATURAL PARADISE

Mountain spas

The Pejo thermal spa (Terme di Pejo) exemplifies the synergy between nature and well-being. Nestled in the majesty of the Stelvio National Park, Pejo's thermal spa waters have long been renowned for their healing effects on the joints, the lymphatic and venous circulation systems, the respiratory tract, urinary tract and gastrointestinal system.
Here you can enjoy the benefits of three different mineral water springs: Antica Fonte, Nuova Fonte and Fonte Alpina. These springs are used to treat various pathologies such as arthritis/rheumatism and vascular, ENT, gastrointestinal and urinary tract issues. Treat yourself to unique mud, thermal bath and inhalation treatment experiences. In the wellness area, enjoy rewarding moments that stir the emotions and the senses: a holiday relaxing like no other.
The fully renovated spa lets you experience thermal carbon dioxide baths with water from the Antica Fonte, rich in minerals and gases that give relief from joint ailments. You can benefit from vascular complaint treatments that use mineral water from the Nuova Fonte to stimulate blood flow in the lower limbs. Rich in bicarbonates, the thermal springs are also used for inhalation treatment to alleviate and prevent inflammatory diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tracts.

BENEFICIAL PROPERTIES OF THERMAL MUD

Mud treatment

Mud therapy offers relief for patients suffering from pathologies such as arthrosis, rheumatism, osteoporosis, periarthritis or fibrosis of rheumatic origin: Pejo thermal muds counteract joint and muscle inflammation. Mud compresses - matured for 12 months with mineral water from the Nuova Fonte and applied at 45 °C - reduce joint inflammation and ease contraction, resulting in pain relief.

EXPERIENCE UNIQUE SENSATIONS

Wellness Area

Terme di Pejo is not just a health resort. It's an oasis of well-being in a holistic sense, a place to rediscover your psycho-physical equilibrium through pleasant, emotional, sensory engagement. The wellness area has been built with warm, carefully selected materials. Occupying an entire floor, it is divided into two areas: the 'warm' area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, Roman baths and steam bath and the 'wet' area with, instead, hydro-massage, cervical spine waterfall, a Kneipp path, icefall, 'emotional' showers and Scottish showers.
At any time you can relax in rooms featuring saline diffusion, in the chromotherapy rooms or the herbal tea lounge. The wellness centre connects directly to the solarium zone, the fitness area (consisting of both machine-equipped and free-body gyms), the pool area and the massage/beauty zone. All areas are internally interconnected so you can combine therapy and relaxation in a way that best suits your needs.
