As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before leaving, inquire about the status of the path by contacting the refuge managers on your route, the mountain guides, visitors centers of natural parks, and tourist offices.
Descend along the dirt road towards the locality of Ronzola (1299m) and pass it.
Beyond the above-mentioned locality, there is a fork to the left that descends towards the valley bottom. Turn left and descend until you reach the underlying dirt road.
Upon reaching the road, continue uphill to the right until you arrive at a large square with an information board.
Turn left and cross the bridge over the Meledrio stream (Pont del Pastrin – 1214m).
Beyond the bridge, take the road on the right that immediately climbs along the mountainside, making a left hairpin turn and then a long traverse through the woods.
Upon reaching the rock climbing wall sign, the road descends and shortly after you will find a steep trail (sign) that climbs to the right (trail 329 b).
With this steep trail, you join trail 329 which rises from the left and continue to the right towards the south until you reach, on a steep section, the junction with trail 365b that leads to Malga Selva Nera di Carciato.
Turn left and leave the trail towards the former Malga Scale.
Trail 365b continues uphill and goes deep into the Valle dei Cornai until it reaches the stream. Cross it and shortly after, descending, you join a narrow path. At the next junction, you will find trail 365 descending from the Costanzi bivouac and on a pleasant road, reach the forest road that leads to Malga di Carciato.
Upon reaching the hairpin turn, turn right and in a few dozen meters reach the buildings of Malga Selva Nera di Carciato (1516m).
