Panoramic malga in Stelvio National Park in Val Maleda, a little frequented valley with enchanting charm.
Long but restorative hike to Malga Maleda along a panoramic and relaxing path, where it is not so unusual to spot deer or roe deer. At the malga you can enjoy dishes cooked by the women of the malga (yes, the malga is managed only by women!), letting your eyes travel over the peaks of Val di Rabbi.

ANTI COVID-19 RULES:
Park your car in the Al Plan area and first proceed on a path among typical wooden huts and then along the forest road indicated towards Malga Fratte.
After passing Malga Fratte with its pastures, continue on the forest road, which will become gradually quieter and the surrounding environment will give you a pleasant feeling of well-being. After about 4 kilometers of walking you will arrive at Malga Maleda Bassa and here we suggest you take a break. Get closer to the beautiful wooden footbridges to better admire the Val Maleda Waterfalls, which suddenly appear in front of you (although you will see them from afar) giving you a pleasant surprise. Continue along the forest road, which becomes progressively steeper along the slopes descending from the peaks of Val Maleda. Along the route, it will come naturally to take breaks to admire the panorama: take time to fully breathe in this beauty, until you reach the malga, where delicious traditional dishes await you in a spontaneous and welcoming environment.
The route runs entirely on forest road without changes of direction or forks. If you prefer, from Malga Maleda Bassa you can take a path that leads to Malga Stablaz through the woods, cutting across the hairpin bends. Since it is rather steep, we suggest keeping it as an alternative for the descent.
