Route in Stelvio Park to discover the Saént Waterfalls, one of the iconic places of Val di Sole.
This circular route leads to one of the most photographed places in Val di Rabbi: the Saént Waterfalls.
A photograph cannot capture their spectacular nature, the emotions stirred by their waters, nor the feeling of freshness you will experience when, crossing them, the jets of water will meet your skin. You just have to visit them in person!
This itinerary is part of the Uno Di Un Milione project.
Here you can take part in an experience of art, relationship, and participation that will guide you along the water trails of Val di Sole and will reveal how the valley community has creatively envisioned its vision for the protection of the environment and future generations.

Rules for mountain walks:
From the parking lot in the Coler locality (1380 m), about 3 kilometers beyond the hamlet of Piazzola, reach Malga Stablasolo (1539 m) on foot.
On the way there or back, plan a stop here to enjoy a tasty dish from our tradition accompanied by a beautiful view of the Val Saènt.
Continue along the forest road and, after crossing the bridge over the Rabbies stream, you will soon arrive at the first waterfall. Beautiful, certainly, but we invite you not to stop here and to continue along the path to reach the famous bridge (one of the most instagrammed spots in the valley!) in front of the second waterfall, foaming and decidedly spectacular. Cross it and breathe in the overwhelming energy of the water! Continue on the path and you will soon reach the junction with the SAT trail no. 106. From here, descend towards Malga Stablèt, visitor center of the Stelvio National Park dedicated to the marmot, and return to Malga Stablasolo first and then to Coler, along the forest road.
You can reach the waterfalls without passing through the malga, ascending from Coler on the left side of the Rabbies stream.
You can reach Val di Rabbi by Trentino Trasporti line bus from Malè (download the departure and return schedules) up to the Rabbi Bagni stop. From here, reach the Coler locality in about 40 minutes on foot or, during active periods, with Stelviobus Rabbi.
Follow the SS42 to the village of Caldes and at the roundabout take the third exit (coming from the direction of Trento). Shortly after, take the right turn for Val di Rabbi and continue along Via Nazionale to the roundabout. Take the second exit and follow SP86 until you reach the turn on the right for Piazzola at the height of Masi Casna. Continue on this road until you reach Coler locality.
In summer, Val di Rabbi is closed to traffic. Leave your car in the Plaze dei Forni parking lots and continue to Coler locality with the shuttle bus Stelviobus Rabbi.
Paid parking in Coler locality.
If traffic is closed, park the car in Plaze dei Forni and continue with the shuttle bus Stelviobus Rabbi.
To tackle this walk, we recommend wearing boots and a hat and carrying a rain jacket, sunscreen, and a water bottle in your backpack.
