Lago delle Malghette is also accessible to the visually impaired, starting from the top of the Daolasa-Val Mastellina cable car. Along the way, you'll be able to smell the intense aromas emanating from the forests of fir, larch, rhododendron, and juniper trees, as well as the Swiss pine.
This trail is recommended for the visually impaired.
From Alpe Daolasa (2,045 m), follow the signs for the Sentiero dei Pastori (Shepherds' Path). The trail extends to Lago delle Malghette, which can be reached via a simple walk through the woods. It begins with a descent along the ski slope, then continues along an easy path to the right until reaching the Lago delle Malghette alpine oasis. From the refuge located below the lake, follow SAT trail no. 201, first toward the Orso Bruno refuge, then descend, following the signs, along the dirt road to Malga Panciana. From there, follow the Sentiero dei Pastori (Shepherds' Path) back to the starting point.
