WHAT TO EXPECT /ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
A charming gourmet aperitif in the fascinating setting of the ancient manor of Ossana awaits you. The chefs of the Antica Osteria are ready to delight you with unusual finger food paired with fine wines served under the illuminated arch at the foot of the castle. And why not climb to the top of the tower to admire the view from up there? An evening of art and history, local flavours and aromas.
INTERESTING FACTS
Castel San Michele, named after the saint to whom the chapel was dedicated, or Castello di Ossana, is perched on a rocky spur. It was strategically positioned between the Trentino region and the Upper Brescia area, enjoying full civil and criminal administration under the Episcopal Curia. It most likely dates back to the Longobard era, but the first definite records of it are from 1191.

This experience is organised by the San Vigilio Association of Ossana, which has managed the castle since 2014. The tasting is arranged by Antica Osteria, a restaurant in Ossana that features in the Michelin guide. It transforms regional flavours into exquisite recipes that use the very finest traditional seasonal ingredients from the local area.
