A multisensory experience in touch with nature. Enter our apiary, relax by listening to the gentle hum of the bees, and breathe in the scent of the hive—a blend of honey, pollen, and propolis. Awaken your senses with a natural path through aromatic herbs. An "APEritivo" featuring our own products and precious honey awaits you.

THINGS TO KNOW

Not just bees: you will meet the cute sheep Nerina and Desiré, together with the ducks and the bunnies.

ABOUT US

The Casa dell'Ape, or ‘Bee House’ farm, in Ortisè was set up for the love of bees and nature! It has been specialized in building beehives, beekeeping and locally grown vegetables for over 20 years.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

We’ll provide you with a beekeeper’s mask and overalls. We’ll be there with you during your time in the apiary.
At the end of the experience we will let you taste our honey and you can create a small souvenir to take with you.

SUITABLE FOR

Activity suitable for everyone.
Ideal for anyone who is looking for a relaxing experience at 1500 m.

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

You’ll need to wear long trousers under the beekeeper’s overalls. You’ll enter the apiary barefoot: belongings and backpacks should be left outside to ensure maximum relaxation and to respect life inside the beehive.

MEETING POINT

ORTISÉ - Casa dell'Ape
You can reach Ortisé with your car by following the SS42. Follow the directions and take the road that goes up to Ortisé at the crossroads between Mezzana and Pellizzano.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

The activity will take place regardless of weather conditions.
