Backpack, headlamp and set off to admire the sunrise in the mountains at 2000 m. Enjoy the special moment when the sun rises through the mountains and lights up your face. Celebrate it with coffee, bread, butter and jam. Behind you a fort from the Great War, Forte Zaccarana.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Breakfast at Fort Zaccarana: hot tea and bread with butter and jam made in our farm.

SUITABLE FOR

Suitable for all. 
Easy trail, with no technical difficulties and only 180 metres difference in altitude along its 3 km.
We start at 1,940 metres at Ospizio San Bartolomeo and walk up to 2,100 metres to Fort Zaccarana.

MEETING POINT

 

The meeting point is the Hospice of San Bartolomeo in Passo Tonale.  
You can arrive by car following the SS 42 to Passo Tonale. Turn into Via Circonvallazione and after about 400 meters turn right towards the Valbiolo chairlift and continue on the road for just over a kilometer until the Hospice.

 

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

What to wear: Long trousers and puffer jacket or heavy sweater, especially during early or late season.

 

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

In the event of rain, this activity will take place on the following Thursday and we will notify you of any changes the night before.
