Hydrospeeding is the river sport that has you in closest contact with the water: completely immersed in the river, it’s as if you become one with the waves. Engaging, adrenaline-spiking, relatively easy, and packed with adventure. Each ride entails a theory lesson on safety and technique, during which you learn how to handle your hydrospeed board and guide it through the water, a practice session in calmer water and then… you’re all set for big thrills and lots of adrenaline!
No special swimming skills are required but it is important that you feel at ease in water, given that you will be up to your neck in it. Then all you need is a taste for fun.
Flippers to help you move through the water and the easy-to-guide hydrospeed board mean you can tackle difficult water immediately if you like.
The hydrospeeding guides play a fundamental role: they teach the techniques that enable you to move through the water, stay with you on the way down, suggest which direction to follow for fun in total safety, and are there throughout if you need them.
The hydrospeeding centres provide all the gear you need: board, flippers, helmet, life jacket and an extra strong, thick, neoprene wetsuit.
