Accompanying you on this relaxing walk will be the roar of the waters of the Rabbies stream, which descends from Val di Rabbi to flow into the Noce stream.
Pleasant walk in the woods from Malé leading to the locality Birreria, on the road to Val di Rabbi, and on the way back passing the charming village of Pondasio, where the Marinelli Forge is still operational today (by reservation), powered by the force of the water.
This itinerary is part of the Uno Di Un Milione project.
Here you can take part in an experience of art, relationships, and participation that will guide you along the water routes of Val di Sole, showing you how the valley community has creatively imagined its vision to protect the environment and future generations.

Rules for mountain walks:
From the village of Malé, just after the Museo della Civiltà Solandra, near the characteristic stone arch located at the exit of the town towards Trento, turn left, following Provincial Road 141 towards Bolentina and Montes. At the first hairpin bend, take the dirt road to the right and follow it for about 100 metres. Continue to the left, gently uphill, on the wide, flat road that leads into Val di Rabbi. Follow it enjoying the shade and the roar of the Rabbies stream until you reach the locality Birreria with a bridge over the Rabbiés stream. After crossing the bridge, continue right for 50 metres, cross the provincial road and take the path on the left that leads in a few minutes to the Molino Ruatti, a characteristic mill powered by the current of the Rabbiés stream, once used to turn grain into flour. We recommend a visit here to get an insight into the local food culture and cereal processing methods.
From here, it is possible to return on the path towards Magras up to Malé, passing through the charming locality of Pondasio, where on request the Marinelli forge is also operational, powered by the water coming from Val di Rabbi.
Alternatively, from Molino Ruatti, you can continue with a flat circular route that leads to the locality Pozze, crossing the small hamlets of the Pracorno settlement. From there, return along the cycle-pedestrian path that runs alongside the Rabbies stream, reconnecting again to the dirt road from Birreria back to Malé (approximately 3 and a half hours for the round trip Malé - Locality Pozze).
You can reach the village of Malé by the TRENTO-MALÉ-MARILLEVA train (download the outbound and return timetables). The train stop is about a 5-minute walk from the start of the route.
Take the SS42 and, at the exit for Malé, turn right (if coming from Trento direction) and follow the road until you reach the centre.
To undertake this walk, we recommend wearing hiking boots and a hat and carrying a waterproof jacket, sunscreen, and a water bottle in your backpack.
