The National Geographic has named the Noce River as one of the best places in Europe for rafting. Enjoy yourself along its 28 km, where you can experience an adrenaline rush through rapids and calm stretches from which you can admire the Val di Sole from a different perspective.

Extreme Waves is a multi-sports centre that opened in the year 2000 as a result of a deep love for the mountains and outdoor activities. Based in Commezzadura on the Noce River, it offers the chance to do various water sports, from white-water rafting and hydrospeeding to canyoning and canoeing.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

You’ll be supplied with a wetsuit, helmet, and a life jacket for the rafting descent

SUITABLE FOR

Rafting on the Noce River is an experience suitable for everyone, especially for families with children aged 5 and up. But even those seeking adrenaline and strong emotions won't be disappointed with rafting! It's enough to know how to swim, have a normal level of physical fitness, and last but not least, a great desire to have fun.

Depending on the type of descent you choose to take, you will navigate different sections of the 28 kilometers of navigable Noce River, so each time the experience will offer you unexpected surprises.

EQUIPMENT/CLOTHING

You need to bring:

  • A pair of extra shoes to wear during the descent (no pool slippers or flip flops). Sneakers are the ideal choice and they will get wet during the rafting trip.
  • Swimsuit and microfleece top to wear under the wetsuit.
  • Shower necessities.
  • A change of clothes for after your shower.

The meeting point is Extreme Waves center in Mestriago di Commezzadura.

IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER

The activity will go ahead even if it’s raining.
