WHAT TO EXPECT /ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
It’s dawn. The sun’s rays peep over the Brenta Dolomites.
The thin grass of the peat bog glistens in the dew.
The silvery flash of fish is reflected in the clear waters of Lake Malghette.
The cry of an eagle mingles with the whispering of the wind: the trees dance, the leaves rustle, the scent resin fills our nostrils.
Nature is awake.
Tiny blurred shadows advance together, stepping lightly, as if barefoot on ground too fragile to be trodden.
We’ve been up since 5 o’clock, a hot thermos of coffee and the silence our only companions.
There it is. A well-defined footprint, its contours sunk in the muddy terrain.
There’s a fox nearby our guide tells us.
