The Ecomuseum is an important outdoor museum for the valley from a cultural and historical point of view and shouldn't be missed. The route begins at the 16th century church with its unique bell-tower, in the centre of the town of Dimaro. From here, continue along the street which takes you to the n. 239 State Road which runs through the town of Dimaro and go left towards Folgarida until you reach the Segheria Veneziana (the sawmill) located at the very beginning of the town when coming down from Folgarida.
From here it is possible to follow the route known as the Trementina (wood turpentine) trail. You can also continue with a mountain bike and then onto the Fosinace (forge) where iron-work took place, a main source of income in the medieval era. Here we can find the Mallet which has been perfectly restored and a lovely picnic area. From here we can follow the route towards the Calcara a lime kiln used to produce limestone. Further along the route you will reach the Doss di Santa Brigida, where, after extensive research, the remains of an ancient hospice, run by the monks for travellers and pilgrims passing through the area, were found. In winter the path is groomed and marked.
