In this traditional dairy, built back in 1858, an exhibit has been created where it is possible to see tools that were was once used to produce dairy products. It provides an invaluable historical record of culture in Val di Rabbi, clearly illustrating the social and economic framework of Alpine communities. The exhibition meticulously preserves the peculiarities of the old dairy, illustrating the traditional tools and techniques by way of a visit that follows the milk-butter-cheese processing cycle. A large fireplace and cauldrons - the symbols of the museum - form the entrance hall's centrepiece: info panels and images illustrate the key milk processing stages. The adjoining exhibition room is dedicated to the tools and furnishings found in dairies of the past.
